Jan-28: No Meeting

Due to the weather, there is no meeting tonight. If you’re signed up for the winter campout, please pay when you arrive. If you have any changes to the campout, call your Den leader.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 PM EST this evening.

Accumulating snow will result in a very difficult evening commute across western New York. Steady snow will continue through early this evening before tapering off to scattered light snow showers by mid to late evening. Additional accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are expected. This will bring storm total accumulations into the 7 to 9 inch by late this evening.

Although the weather is not cooperating with us, at this time we will be meeting tonight. Be aware there is a Winter Weather Advisory posted for Kenmore:

The rain will change to snow by late afternoon… then snow and increasing westerly winds will make driving hazardous tonight. Expect periods of snow tonight with 1 to 3 inches possible by Thursday morning. The snow will also be accompanied by westerly winds gusting up to 35 mph at times.

Please be careful driving to & from Scouts tonight. See you at 6:30!
